This wonderful quality figure of a lion is made of heavy solid bronze, dates from the 18th century and has a fantastic dark patina.
This handsome lion which feels extremely heavy in the hand is a nice tactile piece that has beautiful detail such as to the face and flowing mane. It would have most likely been part of a French clock but makes a great paperweight.
A very nice antique bronze lion that looks stunning on display and would make the perfect gift for a lion collector.
