The 1930's was a time of floral exploration...designers and stylists were using feathers...bird feathers...and especially peacock and ostrich feathers in designs from floral bouquets to hair accessories...hats and of course home fashions...depictions began to show up on wallpaper and fabric designs and before you knew it the whole world was smitten with the look of ostrich feathers...especially in the cottage design element...as you can see in this interesting design of barkcloth with a spectacular Art Deco inspired take on birch bark texture!

This offering is for ONE unused unwashed old stock remnant of barkcloth...I have another one also available...I am sure you will agree the color scheme is one that takes a vintage souls breath away...a radiant deep dark teal...rustic red...shell pink...creamy banana yellow...caramel coffee...lots of shades of lattes...creamy limes...aqua minty greens and jadeite limes with deep ink cobalt and white accents. ORGASMIC...please do your heart the service of peeking at some of the close ups...if even not to buy...but to be a part of the experience of which the lens of my camera provides...measures 24 inches wide x 18 inches long.
