Hestra's best selling range of gloves - the Army Leather Heli Ski remains unchanged in many years and for good reason - it is one of the best gloves on the market, and available in 5 finger, 3 finger and mitten versions.

This is the 3 finger version in black, to give a great balance of dexterity and warmth, in a women's cut, featuring a narrower body and longer fingers for a perfect fit.

Over 100 parts go into making the Army Leather Heli Ski and Snowboard Glove the best on the mountain, with high levels of durability thanks to a "We only make gloves" approach leading to the best materials being used, and construction optimised for warmth as well as durability.

The Army Leather Heli Ski features a removable Bemberg liner, which when installed traps air between the outer shell, and a further layer against your skin. This gives high levels of insulation, and can be further enhanced with a glove liner in extreme cold conditions. When removed the liner can be easily washed, or replaced over time, and the outer shell can be used as a shell glove - it makes a perfect shell for golf for example.

The glove comes with an adjustable wrist joint cinch strap for fine tuning of the fit, and at the end of the cuff a pull cord snow gaiter keeps the elements out whether over or under your jacket sleeve.

A set of glove cuffs is also included, so that when on the lift or at a toilet stop you are not going to drop and lose a glove.

And a drying carabiner is also included, to allow you to hang your gloves overnight so they are ready to go next day and are naturally dried, or to clip to your backpack or jacket when on a lunch stop.

To complete this stunning glove a sachet of Hestra Care Balm is included, which ensures your glove leather remains soft and supple, with its maximum waterproof and insulation properties retained.

Fit

This is a women's specific fit glove which will suit narrower hands. Simply measure round your hand at the palm and this measurement in inches is your glove size. If you have slightly longer fingers then consider going up a size if between sizes, and if you have a narrower hand consider the women's version of this glove.

Hestra Ski Gloves Buying Guide

Hestra make gloves, and no other clothing so their sizing runs very true using the traditional method of measuring the hand. Take a look at the size chart below to determine your size.

Tips from our years of experience selling these gloves:

- If between sizes on gloves and mittens round UP a size
- If between sizes on liners you can size DOWN for a closer yet still comfortable fit
- For FULL leather gloves, you will find these a much closer fit, leather will break in to personalise the fit, but we recommend still rounding up if between sizes or wanting a less snug fit to allow for glove liners, for example
- Hestra make UNISEX and WOMENS models. If you have long slender fingers, the women's range is optimised for this

Measuring your hand



Hestra measure by running a tape measure (or piece of string) round the circumference of your hand at the palm EXCLUDING your thumb - put your hand in front of you palm facing you, and measure round the hand with your thumb out of the way at a right angle. This measurement, the girth of your hand, in inches, is your Hestra glove size. For example 8" is a size 8 glove. You can further refine your size by measuring your longest finger from the base of the palm to the tip of the longest finger.
