The pastoral prints of the mid century were basically the toiles printed on premium thick barkcloth fabrics...using thick and nubby over more lightweight toile fabrics...this one showcasing a reminiscent look the woods and pastoral imagery of roadsides in mid century America in a colorful...and dramatic twist to pastoral...the trees stand in such a way they command the eye's attention..in deep dark and creamy colors that amp up the drama of the trees...as the rest becomes a splendid backdrop to the rustic country roadside.
This offering is for ONE unused unwashed thick and nubby remnant of original old stock barkcloth...a clean crisp ground with deepest darkest fabulous merlot and magenta burgundy...creamy charcoal and dove grays...seafoam minty green...creamy lime...chartreuse yellow and gold...with a load of dramatic black for abstract highlighting.
