Popular MARX brand toy tin lithograph wind-up cat with ball. The actions performed by the toy are wagging tail, moving cat, and rolling ball. Since this did not come with a key, I was unable to test. I know replacement keys are still being sold today. Since I was unable to test, I am selling this as a decorative collectable and no warranty is implied on it being in working order.
The cat has also lost his ears, which is a common ailment to this toy since the small leather ears easily came dislodged from their slots on the cat's head.
Aesthetically speaking the toy is in great condition minus the ears and key. No dents, scratches, dings or rust.
This being a Black Cat, could make this a good addition to a vintage Halloween display.
