This French trade shop sign which is made of wrought iron dates from c1920 and has the wording Blanchisserie hand painted to each side in white.
This double sided trade shop sign which would have originally been mounted outside a Blanchisserie (laundry) features a traditional cast iron laundry iron and has a wonderful rustic feel showing years of aging and wear.
This makes it a super decorative piece for use outdoors or indoors in the home, laundry shop, bar and could be mounted in a wall by the attached bars or could be hung from chains/hooks.
