Type  Fountain pen handmade of acrylic ... this version of the pen has a screw-in German nib unit.

Product Name  Model 8B is a version of the Model 8 that is fatter. This is a Ranga style that is torpedo-shaped with pointed tops and bottoms. This listing is for the 8B with the old style Ranga clip. (We will be phasing out the 8Bs with these old style clips, as the clips are not interchangeable.)

Length  6-1/4". The area of the section where most people grip the pen is 10.5mm (as opposed to 10mm for the slimmer Model 8). The widest area of the barrel is 14.5mm (as opposed to 12.5mm for the Model 8).

Filling System  International style cartridges and converters. The pen has been configured to accept a screw-in German nib unit which works with international style cartirdges and converters. A converter will be included.

In addition, the converter can be removed so that you can use the pen as an eyedropper. 

Color  This listing is for Ranga 8B pens in "Classic Tigress" acrylic. We have these in a few different colors, and we'll be adding more.  Gold or silver colored clip. We can remove the clip altogether, but a small notch where the clip sits will remain.

Nib  You have a choice of nibs. The pen is fitted with a German screw-in nib unit made by JoWo in its standard #6 configuration. We offer this nib set-up with steel JoWo nibs. Be sure to communicate your choice of nib, or your order will be delayed.
