Beautiful Vintage 54.5cm or 21.5" Carlton Flyer Path Racer Track Bike Frame & Fork that has been Restored and looks to be from 1967. The Size is: Seat tube 53m Center to Center or 54.5cm Center to Top with a 55cm center to center top tube. The Head tube is 106mm. The 1" Threaded Fork has 95mm Spacing and the Frame Rear has 120m Rear Spacing. The Frame and Fork's clearance is for 27" Wheels and the wheel base appears to be 38 1/2". The Frame and Fork are Reynolds Steel 531 Tubing with Iconic Flyer Lugs. The Frame and Fork look to be a Street Version Track Bike or Path Racer with tabs for Mud Guards / Fenders, frame has eyes for rear cable / rear brake. Rear brake bridge and fork are both drilled for brakes. The Bottom Lug bottom has a oiler hole and takes British / BSA/ ISO Bottom Brackets. The Serial # is on the Rear drop out, V 973x which from research should be 1967. Frame bottom and fork are stamped with a bespoke numbers 1058xx and I suspect the frame was a custom order. Frame and Fork are Beautifully Restored, It Looks Great, The Repaint is Candy Maroon Red Color Paint with striping, pinstripes, decals, and clear coat, The Paint work is Real Nice and I am a painter and can tell Quality. Top Notch, I did not do the paint work just giving you my professional opinion of the work. Sure it took close to a Grand of restoration costs. Plenty of Eye Candy Pictures to mull over. Frame set appears to be early Carlton predating the Carlton built Raleigh Era. What's shown weighs a tad under 6 pounds.
