Scarce, true vintage 1960s "Prints from the Mourlot Press" paperback book of original lithographs. This book was printed on the Mourlot Printing Press in Paris, France, and was limited to 2000 copies for an exhibition sponsored by the French Embassy, circulated by the Traveling Exhibition Service of the National Collection of Fine Arts, Smithsonian Institution, 1964-1965. Approximate measurements are 10 1/16" by 7 9/16". Included in the book are lithographed and reproduced artwork pieces from Chagall, Picasso, Miró, Braque, Estève, Villon, Matisse, Guiramand, Florsheim, Cathelin, Brasilier, Brianchon, Cocteau, Minaux, Jenkins, Calder, Kito, Giacometti, Manessier and Glarner. Covers have some wear, discoloring/browning, and marks/scuffs. Bumped upper right corner on covers and all pages. Inner pages seem to have been minimally viewed. Only notable flaws seem to be a little separation at gutter inside front cover (still tightly bound) and the aforementioned small bumped corners - anything else is minor. Beautiful book! Will be shipped very well protected via USPS Priority Mail with insurance.
