This handsome spirit hip flask which is made of glass has a detachable silver plated cup which is nicely gilded, hinged screw top, dates from c1900 and is marked to the base of the cup with the maker's marks for James Dixon & Sons who were top flask maker's at the time.

The outer of the top half has a sight level to both sides and is covered in a beautiful dark brown crocodile effect leather. The screw top has a new cork fitted so seals well and does not leak.

This handsome antique hip flask is nice and tactile and is the ideal size to fit in your pocket so would make a very nice usable gift.

Condition: Very good used antique condition with light signs of light use in keeping with age. Some light surface scratches, wear and marks. The hinged lid closes as it should and has a new cork fitted so does not leak. The glass is in nice clean condition. Leather has just a little cracking. Please see pictures.
