Your purchase will consist of One (1) RFC Model 63-2400  PL-259 Type straight Clamp-Solder UHF Male connector in individual factory packaging. This connector may be used with RG-8, RG-213, RG-214, Belden 8214, Belden 9913, LMR-400 and other similar coax cables.

Clamp style connectors are robust in construction and use common tools such as open or box end wrenches and / or crescent wrenches.
Braid contact is made by high compression when the end nut is tightened. The Gold Plated Brass Coax center conductor fitment is by soldering.
The nature of fitment means the Clamp / Solder type connectors may be uninstalled and reinstalled (reused multiple times if required)

Clamp style connectors usually require more cable preparation and assembly time compared to crimp or straight solder types, but the extra time rewards the installer with immediate confidence it was installed correctly, and will give many years of trouble-free service.
