To solve this issue, Pinlock created "Pinlock Inserts", also known as Pinlock Panels. The Pinlock panel is made from a moisture absorbing material. The visor-facing side of the Pinlock panel is lined with a silicon bead, which creates a double glazing effect, when the Pinlock visor panel is mounted to the inside of your helmet visor and trapping a pocket of dry air. The pocket of air that is trapped in between the visor and the Pinlock panel acts as a temperature barrier that reduces condensation. Together, the temperature barrier and the moisture-absorbing properties of the compound vastly reduce fogging of the inside of your visor. The Pinlock panel is totally clear to see through and is not noticeable in daily use.
