Why pay more for a reissue when you can own an original for less?  Here's a rare opportunity to own a valuable 60s SG Custom at a below market price.  1968 was the last year without “Made in the USA” on the back of the headstock. This guitar has been professionally set up and plays the way you’d expect a “Fretless Wonder” to play and feel.  It has three of those incredible, original 60s humbuckers.  The pots are original except for one that the previous owner had replaced. It also features those unique waffle-back gold Klusons, gold Maestro Lyre Vibrola, and Gibson SG Custom HSC.  It’s in wonderful shape for a guitar over half a century old, though it has some wear and a couple of chips as seen in the photos (but aren't noticeable while you're playing). Sounds great.  Plays great.   It’s a classic sixties Gibson!

Why so cheap? It's because, back in the 70s the neck was repaired. However, it was expertly done. At some point it was professionally refinished. Yet, today it has a wonderful aged patina. Can you tell any of this work was done? NO. Can you tell by holding it? NO. Can you tell by playing it? NO. What we have here is a complete 1968 Gibson SG Custom that looks and plays beautifully. Looking at it, no one could tell its been repaired.  Let that be your secret.  It's only because of this past history that you get own this gorgeous guitar for about half of what it should be selling for. Another bonus for you; I'm anxious to sell.  So, no reasonable offer refused.
