This is a preowned Vintage Gray Persian Lamb Astraknan Fur Hat Ambassador Russian Gorbachev Brezhnev Khrushchev, a Classic ambassador style

Very soft to the touch, in multi tone grays. I can’t translate the size inside the hat (see photos). Lying flat it measures 12” long and 6” high. It’s 8” high when you pop up the center from inside.

Has a decorative cuff fold and shape has been described as a pie.

Looks like Astrakhan Fur, which I had to Google: the dark curly fleece of young karakul lambs from central Asia.
