We sell a lot of stuff online. And we have a very generous return policy. All this adds up to quite a few returned items. The thing is, nearly all of them are in essentially new condition; most returns are just customers accidentally buying the wrong product. So we re-sell them here as open-box goods. If you’ve followed our website in the past, you’ve seen these on our Closeouts page.
All open-box items offered for sale here are fully inspected, and guaranteed to be in perfect working order. Where we can, we run them through a full battery of tests. Things that typically get tested are preamps, speakers, amps, wireless receivers—anything we can plug in and turn on. Things that do not get tested (but do get inspected) are things like guitar pickups (if they’ve been previously installed, it’s obvious from the wiring, and in that case, we do not re-sell them).
