This listing is for:

Repair of your Diesel Pump EDU

for 2000-2004 1.7DTI Vauxhall / Opel Astra / Combo / Corsa / Astravan.

(Motor Code: Y17DT / Y17DTL)

It should look like the one pictured.

Your module will be inspected and repaired by our trained technicians, and quickly returned to you.

We normally re-dispatch on the same day that we receive items for repair.

How do I know if my module is faulty....?

If your engine will not start, or has cut out and won't restart, it could be because the electronics in your fuel pump EDU have failed.
This is a common fault on these pumps, often showing code P0251.

Faults are frequently intermittent at first, and get progressively worse.

Of course, the fault may be due to a different fault in the pump itself (or some other fault entirely)

However, we offer this service as a cost-effective alternative to costly replacement with new.

Will this repair service fix my fault....?

This service is to replace the drive transistor, and we guarantee the workmanship of the repair and the quality of the replacement transistor.
Unfortunately, we can't guarantee that this will cure the fault in all instances, as the fault may lie elsewhere.
However, we can you that our success rate is in excess of 90% with these.

A functional test is not part of this service.
This would not be cost effective as there are no other serviceable components in the module if a fault were to be found.

Note that no re-programming is necessary if refitting in the same vehicle, this is plug & play.
However, the module cannot be fitted to another vehicle (unless the module version is identical and you get it re-programmed)

Will it need recoding...?

No recoding etc required. The unit is Plug & Play.
After you have refitted the EDU to the pump core, just purge your fuel system, and you are ready to go.

What Happens If.......?

If No Fault Found following full functional testing, we will refund you 25%.
If No Fault Found but we don't have a full functional test, we will refund you, less £5 if you want it returned.
If we are unable to repair, we will refund you, less £5 if you want it returned.
