For sale is a NOS GM passenger side replacement vacuum diaphragm for 1969-70 GTO and Judge with Ram Air. This is for the hood plate on your Ram Air car that bolts under the hood. You will not find a part number for this in the Pontiac book because it was not available seperate. You needed to buy the whole assembly which was expensive. For those who don't know how the system works here you go. When the car is started cold engine vacuum goes to the diagrams which allows the air cleaner to take in heat from the rh exhaust manifold on Ram Air III cars. The RA III cars do not use the rh heat intake on the hood plate. The RAIV cars have a special pick-up that comes off of the alluminum/cast crossover intake they use on the right side for extra heated air when cold. These cars were cold blooded. Lol! If you want the whole story on how I got some of these I will tell you but trust me this is an exact GM replacement for the passenger side RA plate. It will work for the driver side with slight modification. This may work for TA but I would have to dig out a hood plate for one of those cars to check. I have replaced a few of these and all you have to do is drill or lightly grind out the spot weld on the one side. The other side of the retainer plate just slides in. Then install the diaphragm in the slot. Put the retainer plate back on and tac weld or install a screw.  I have pictured an original RA hood plate diaphragm so you could see I'm not full of crap. The RA hood plate is not included. It is just for illustration purpose.  Buyer to pay 10.00.00 shipping and payment in 2 days by PayPal or cash in person.  Thanks.
