The animals gather in the lovely Manu jungle. It's The government-protected ecological preserve in Peru and world Heritage of Humanity. The Manu jungle is home a lot of species of animals as the colorful macaws and birds, toucans, lazy bear, the cock of the rocks, monkeys and others. It's framed against lush leaves of trees native to the Amazon. The colorful appliqué is sewn in the arpillería tradition (Patchwork).
Edi Narrea, craftwoman master, she works in the traditional art of arpillería to create this lovely wall hanging. Each tiny figure is crafted in three dimensions and lavishly embroidered.
