It was announced in March 2019 that Tom Schwarz would take on the lineal and former unified world champion Tyson Fury in a 12 round bout ,held on 15th June 2019 in Las Vegas.

The fight was a one sided affair ,with Schwarz out boxed by Fury, who switched to southpaw stance after first round.
