New Sealed CD. Soda Stereo is the debut album of the Argentine group Soda Stereo recorded and released in 1984. The production of this debut album was in charge of Federico Moura. Soda Stereo would become one of the most popular rock bands in Latin America. The album features a style heavily influenced by post-punk, ska and new wave music. The sounds of bands like The Police, The Cure and even Men at work can be seen in their music and image.
For this album, Soda Stereo went platinum in Argentina and double platinum in Peru and Chile a few months later.
It contains a strong criticism of the hedonism of Argentine society at that time.
