Set of 4 Jean Pouyat (JP) fine porcelain teacups with matching saucers are double handled, have a green and tan border, clover and diamond images and are gold rimmed on a creamy white background.

The L is a mark for Limoges, a region in France known for its world class porcelain and history of fine craftsmanship.

JP china was produced in France between 1835 and 1912.  It is not known when this particular pattern was created, but is definitely a beautiful and rare find.

Footed, double handled cup measures approximately 3 7/16 inches in diameter, not including the handles and is approximately 2 inches high.

The saucer measures approximately 5 3/8 inches in diameter.  Very good pre-owned condition with minimal signs of previous use on gold.  No chips, stains or cracks.  I do not see any crazing.
