antique chandelier Golded brass hall lantern circa 1880 (cannot Verify Age).

This was purchased from the Billy Rose fire estate in 1956 in Mount Kisco, New York. It was an antique back then. My mom was an interior decorator and an antique collector, and it has been told to us that it is a brass antique, possibly candle-based at one time from a carriage house which was converted to a electric. It has been rewired and is working properly. The glass is very delicate. It seems to have some wax drippings from the original candle based illumination. It appears that one piece of glass was replaced. I’m not sure when it was done. Wayback when.

I cannot verify where it was made or the actual date all I know is it’s very old and was told to me that it was from the late 1800s. You are the expert if you’re purchasing it so there are no returns please purchase based on whatever visual you can see here.

The chandelier is being sold as is. It has multiple scuffs and scratches but you would also if you were still around from the 1800s.
