For your consideration is this lovely vintage Music Box from Germany. The lid is silver plate and the jar is a nice and heavy crystal glass. The side of the lid is marked: "Made in West Germany".

The lid just fits snuggly on top of the jar and stays in place through its own weight.

The musical movement is a swiss REUGE movement. The sound is bright and clear and it plays very well some kind of Waltz. To wind it up, just turn the ballerina clockwise. There is a working stopper on the side of the ballerina, too.

While the music is playing the ballerina rotates. 

This music box is in great condition, but its vintage and not perfect. There is a tiny dent in the front of the lid, luckily it is hardly recognizable. This beautiful music box is nicely polished and ready to gift.

Measures about 5" tall. The jar is 3 1/2" wide.

Comes from a clean and smoke free home.
