The tape recorder is mechanically and electronically functional, but it must be adjusted mechanically (change belts, grease, adjust the heads) and possibly electronically.
The plastic covers from the mechanical assembly of the heads are missing.
No warranty, sold as is. Look carefully at the pictures.
It has a socket for connecting a remote control by cable (an electronics technician can adapt a radio or infrared remote control)
The main mechanical controls are actuated by electromagnets.

The tape recorder Tembr-2S was manufactured in 1983 at the Petrovskovo factories.
Designed to equip marine, river vessels and fishing fleets for high quality recording and playback of music or special signals/phonograms.
It has three magnetic heads.
The PLAY head is mono by design (I have it) and a technician replaced it with a stereo one.
The operation of the magnetic tape can be horizontal or vertical.
For vertical operation, it needs two rubber covers that are fixed on the axis of the drums and that can be improvised.
