In some scenes he plays an instrument, hands her a small posey of flowers or just sits and walks
with her. There are 14 landscape scenes around the base and 12 on the lid. At the base of
each vignette it is signed 'Fragonard' (see photo #3).
This is a substantial piece and holds 18 cups of liquid comfortably. The base is about 10.5 inches
