Rarely do you find this Steiff hand puppet version of their beautiful black cat figures.   This one is exceptionally nice.   It’s in excellent condition AND has his original bow and tag, but no ear button.  It measures 9” tall.  He’s a real charmer and if you collect Steiff’s black cats then this puppet completes the set.   See my other Steiff black cats listed.

Additional condition information:

The only feature of this item that indicates age is the original ribbon.  The color has the typical fading for its age as dyes break down - with some very slight fraying at the ends.   All stitching of paws, mouth and nose are perfect.  Glass eyes are perfect - all nose whiskers are intact.   Ear whiskers seem to be all there, though some have been flattened into the fur.  Chest tag looks perfect front and back.   I see no wear on the mohair fur which is full and in good condition.   I don’t see any separation at seams.
