2011 Longaberger Witch's Hat Basket & Base Set

The perfect Halloween party table decor, this Longaberger Witch's Hat with resin Base will steal the show at your annual party as it makes fun family memories for years and years to come. Accented with an orange and spice layered hat band with a shiny nickel buckle, the woven Hat is topped with a black resin tip that is comically askew.

This unique shape required tapered splints and a skilled weaver. The weaver's initials and date are inside the black band in silver marker. The paper tags are included and show that this Witch's Hat Basket was woven 8/05/11

The black resin Base, with fuzzy velveteen underneath, has an indentation for the Hat Basket and a slightly curving edge. According to The Bentley Guide, the Base is food-grade safe resin, "making it okay to place or serve food on it." I wouldn't want food that close to my basket!

The Basket was handwoven in Ohio USA by American craftsmen. The Base was probably made in China
