Hello,

I have a large lot of miscellaneous ball chain that I would like to sell to one person. I have stopped

making the jewelry that I used this ball chain for and now it is just sitting. I am going to price this ball

chain WELL UNDER its bulk wholesale cost. That being said, I will not be able to give an EXACT amount of

chain for some of the chain as it is wrapped around spools. I will give the exact weight of the chain as

they weigh with the plastic spool included in the weight. Any chain that is already cut into custom sizes I

will be able to give either an exact amount of a VERY CLOSE amount based on weight. Either way I will

ALWAYS do my best to underestimate the amount of chain you would receive so that I am accurately

presenting this auction in your favor! All total, I believe there is at least $550 worth of WHOLESALE chain

in this large lot that weighs just over 24 pounds! There is some excellent profit in here for anyone

wanting to sell this chain in smaller lots. Or if you are just looking for a steal on some very good ball

chain for your own business.

1. I have a bag of #3 2.4mm Yellow Gold Brass chain pre-cut into 24” lengths. They all include the connector on

one end. This bag of chain weighs 4566 grams. I calculated that 43 chains weigh 252 grams;

therefore, this bag should contain approximately 779 pre-cut 24” Yellow Gold Brass chains.

There is approximately $270 worth of pre-cut chain in this part of the lot deal.

2. I have a bag of pre-cut #3 24” nickel 2.4mm ball chain. 17 of these chains weigh 100 grams. This bag

weighs 1090 grams, therefore the bag should hold approximately 183 chains. These chains

already have a connector on one end as well. There is approximately $35 worth of wholesale

chain in this part of the lot. 

3. A large spool of #3 Antique brown 2.4mm ball chain. I believe this chain originally contained 250 feet of

chain. Again, very little has been used on this spool. The price of this spool was $100. There

should be well over 70% left on this spool. (Again, I believe this is a very conservative estimate

which favors you). This spool should have at least $70 worth of bulk chain on the spool. 

4. 1 spool of #1 yellow brass chain 500 feet. The ball diameter of this chain is .072” (1.8 mm). Some of the

chain has been used on this spool, but not much. The spool with chain weighs 1010 grams. I

estimated 5’ of chain to weigh 12 grams. I am going to conservatively estimate (in your favor)

that there is 70% of the chain left on this spool. The original spool was $150, so there should be

$100+ worth of bulk chain still on the spool.

5. A spool of #1 nickel plated brass 1.8 mm ball chain. The chain including spool weighs 820grams. I will

conservatively estimate there is well over 50% of the chain still on this spool. The cost of this

bulk chain was $150, so there should be a minimum of $75 worth of bulk chain still on the spool.

6. ****BONUS**** A bag of mixed ball chain.
