WORKING CONDITION:

Remember, this listing is for TWO games that are linked - not just one.  They are actually both independent games, but they are meant to be linked for competition, so I am selling them together as one unit.  Both are fully working.  Both have perfect pictures on the perfect 55" flat screen arcade monitors.

All of the bells and whistles work perfectly also - the LED towers on each side of each monitor, and the LEDs at the top for lighting up the marquees.  The sound / music works perfectly.  The coin acceptors are brand new and take quarters.  I am including the working Yen coin mechs inside each cabinet in case you want to convert it back to taking Yen coins.  But in the US, quarters seem to be more plentiful and easier for customers to use.

The joysticks, buttons, and foot pad sensors all work. .  The joysticks are a little bit worn and could use a rebuild probably. They still work perfectly as far as sensing movement properly, but the buttons sometimes don't register. I'm sure new switches would solve that problem.  There are sega parts distributors who sell most or all of the parts for this game and I can connect you with them if needed.  But overall the game still works correctly.

PLEASE NOTE:  This is the Japanese release of this game, so most of the text in and on the game are in Japanese.  Most of the talking in the game is also Japanese.  However, that said, it is still easy to figure out how to play the game as the game play instructions show some english words, and also show demonstrations on the screen of what to do with the controls.  I really like these Japanese games and have quite a few in my collection - there is just something really cool about seeing Japanese writing on a video game - I mean most of the best games in history were designed and programmed in Japan - Donkey Kong, Pac Man, Galaga, Space Invaders...

PHYSICAL CONDITION and RATINGS:

Physically, these cabinets are almost like new.  The "player 2" cabinet has one small flaw on the right side, where the sonic symbol sticks up, it has a little damage.  Otherwise, the cabinets are just about perfect.  All access doors, front and back, are present and in great condition.

The coin doors are in perfect condition, and have new quarter coin acceptors installed.  Price per play can be set however you want it.  Both cabinets have original coin boxes.  I will include the custom Japanese locks on the bottom coin door because those locks are pretty hard to find, and really are the only type of locks that work well with this locking system.  The top doors will not have locks but you can buy locks for them.

The only real worn parts on these cabinets are the two foot pads where players stand, that is - those pads are very worn as you can see in the pictures.  But those pads are replaceable.  I've found them at a Sega arcade parts distributor who sells them for about 200 each.  And the pads are cosmetic only. The movement of your feet is tracked with optos about an inch above the foot pads.

Note that these come apart into 4 main pieces - the two cabinets themselves are not even connected other than a network cable.  And the foot pads come apart from the main monitor section with about 8 screws and a couple of basic connectors.  Very easy to disassemble and re-assemble.  The main monitor units are on nice wheels so they move around very easily.  The foot pad parts don't have wheels, but can be moved easily with a dolly or cart.

If you need any more pictures or have any questions, please let me know - I'm happy to answer.

NOTE:

Unlike some other sellers on eBay, the game I am selling is the actual game pictured and described above.  Somehow, other sellers seem to think a single stock photo from google and a generic description like "great condition, but may have some scratches and blemishes" is good enough. They have some beat up junker in the warehouse and don't even get it ready to sell until it sells.

Not here at VintageVideogames.Arcadia.  We take pictures of the exact game that we are selling. We want you to know exactly what you are buying.

LOCATION:

This game is located in sunny, beautiful downtown McLean, IL 61754.  That's right...in the heart of Classic Arcade World where Arcadia: America's Playable Arcade Museum, Pinball Paradise, and Hotel Arcadia are located!  I suggest buying this game and then making its pickup a fun family road trip!  We have over 140 playable games and luxurious arcade-themed lodging options.  Contact me for more details or look for hotel Arcadia on airbnb.

SHIPPING:

Included in the price is FREE WHITE GLOVE SHIPPING from North American Van Lines.  They will bring it right inside your house (ground floor only).  This is for the 48 contiguous United States only.  If you want this shipped internationally, it will cost extra and we will have to discuss it and get a shipping quote before you pull the trigger.

Regarding shipping time, North American Van Lines only picks up from my location once a week.  So shipping will probably take between 7 and 14 days depending on where you are in the country.  In some rare cases possibly longer.

For what it's worth, I have been collecting (hoarding) games for over 30 years and selling them on eBay since about 1997. I have probably shipped two thousand games (many but not all on eBay), from individual games to full containers.  You won't find a more reputable seller...check my feedback.  Unfortunately, I cannot provide a money-back guarantee on this just because a lot can happen in shipping.  What I CAN guarantee is that if you pick the game up, or if not when the game leaves my hands, it will be exactly as described and photoed above.  And in 30 years of selling, I have never left anyone in the lurch or ripped anyone off.  I'm a fair, honest guy...ask anyone.
