This listing is for those wishing to upgrade or replace their older 1st through 4th generation box. There are no other parts included in this listing hence the lower price, you will reuse your other parts. We had customers ask if they can upgrade or replaced damaged units. This is for those that already have the kit. NOTE: tray only and new bigger clamp mounting bolts. Everything else is reused. NOTE: if you have the first gen kit from 2010-2012 with a strap hold down and not clamp you need to let us know so we can also sell you a clamp.
2022 MANUFACTURING UPGRADES:
Now using even thicker 12 gauge American made steel, (or stainless), precisely laser cut on very expensive and sophisticated machinery, steel boxes are double welded from both sides (inside and out) by a master precision welder by hand (not a machine) adding weld seam strength, stainless units are literally fused together also by hand, radiator mounting points are re-enforced, all steel trays have the welds ground flush with box, stainless ones are cleaned from gasses used during welding, then once manufacturing process is completed, all trays are quality checked, tested, and cleaned with chemicals to prep for the heavy duty layer of high quality powder coat. Stainless will never rust period, steel have so much prep work and such a high quality coating that they will outlive your truck, and possibly you. I also increased the size and thickness of the stainless bolts used for the battery clamp tie down, moved up a full metric size. You will especially notice the differences if you are familiar with the prior generations of my kit.

In addition to the above another reason why my kit is the best option is that it Mounts under the hood, actually its the only option that mounts there, in the engine compartment, a precise fit, NOT on frame or elsewhere, utilizing very short wiring, and any 65 group size battery will fit this box including factory oem motorcraft, autozone duralast, napa, etc.
