20 Dunstan chestnuts, crop of October 2023. 

I keep these seeds in the fridge. 

These nuts are for Hunting. 

It means that the nuts are "defective as seeds" - they are floating in the water, may have worm holes, and cracks. Deer do not care about these defects. They love these nuts.  They are looking for these nuts. 

If you buy these chestnuts to see if they will produce chestnut trees - please note that from my experience  only 20% of these "defective seeds" will produce trees. And yes, numerous times floating and even skin-cracked  chestnuts produced nice trees.

Every single chestnut I will ship - will be thorought washed and cleaned using an old tooth brush.

Please don't email me that you found some mold. I doubt that you will find it, but some people are looking for mold to say that the item is defective and they want their money back.  

Deer do not care about the mold here and there.
