Monstercolors' range of Railway colours is something we have been asked about producing for some time, and now we are happy to provide you with a range we are sure you will be happy with. Monstercolors Railway enamel paint is much like our military paint range, Our colours are formulated to the highest degree of accuracy to the original colours used on our railways dating back from pre 1928 to the modern era, we are satisfied that after contacting various rail transport museums, train and model railway enthusiasts, we have formulated a Railmatch for all of our colours in the range.
Our railway colours are formulated using the highest grade of pigment available producing a formulation which is both hard wearing and fast drying. We feel our formula is perfect not only for the scale model world but also the more industrial side of this field in larger sized locos. Railway Paint is a unique single coat high gloss paint that contains up to 20% more paint solids this gives the paint more body than conventional paints. We offer our railway colours in both 400ml aerosols and 1 litre tins for brush application. we feel the high paint solid formula deliveres a more durable, hard wearing finish.
Each 400ml aerosol comes with a unique fan spray cap actuator, which replicates a spray gun for that professional finish, and a finer clear nozzle for more detailed spraying. Our 400ml aerosol will cover around a 1-2 square metre surface, Colour swatches are only a representation and may vary depending on your device settings.
We will also be offering a mixing option that will enable our customers to send us colour codes not available in our range that will be available in both spray and brush on variants. How to use: Ensure the surface is clean and dry. Shake can for 2 minutes prior to use to ensure uniformity.Apply with an even motion , from a distance of 20 - 25 cm.Coverage:400ml aerosol, which will cover around 4-6 square feet. (Estimation)
After use: Turn can upside down & spray for a 5 second burst, this will clear the valve and nozzle .
