Steve Carlton played Major League Baseball from 1965 to1988, most notably as a member of the Philadelphia Phillies with whom he wonfour Cy Young Awards as well as the 1980 World Series.  During his career,he won 329 games and pitched to an earned run average of 3.22. He was electedto the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1994.

Having been burned too many times on eBay by dishonest listings and misleading descriptions and photos, I strive to provide significant detail on the condition of the card in addition to numerous high-quality photos so that you can accurately gauge the condition of the card to ensure you know what you are paying for.

Keeping in mind that I am not a professional grader, I personally would grade this card VG-EX mostly due to centering and print line at top of card.

Notes on Card Condition

Corners:  Strong corners all around the card exhibiting some light wear including visible light fraying.

Edges:  Edges are clean and straight all around the card with some roughness along the top edge most likely from the manufacturing process.

Card Face:  The face of the card has great color and gloss. No creases, scratches or print blemishes.

Centering: Approximately 65/35 top to bottom and 85/15 left to right.

Back of Card:  Back of card is clean and bright. Centering is approximately 75/25 left to right and 55/45 top to bottom.

What is your return policy?   Cards may be returned within 30 days of delivery in the same condition for a full refund to be issued. If the card is deemed to not be in the same condition as it was at the date of purchase, issuance of a refund will be at the discretion of the seller.
