Original lithograph "Stables V" by Alexander Calder for "Derriere Le Miroir" and published in Paris by the French art dealer Aimé Maeght in 1963.  The lithograph's colors are vibrant, and the printing is of the highest quality.  The verso of this lithograph has text printed in French.

Mint condition new old stock, with no color fading, wear, or paper toning.  The photo is highly detailed and an accurate representation of condition and colors.

Derrière le Miroir was an art magazine published from 1946 to 1982. There was a total of 253 editions in 200 volumes. The large format magazine was illustrated with original lithographs (in addition to a lithograph cover), as well as some reproductions. Writers and poets like Aragon, Beckett, Char, Eluard, Prévert, Queneau, Reverdy, Sartre all contributed texts. Most of the major artists of the second half of the twentieth century created lithographs for Derrière le Miroir including: Chagall, Léger, Miro, Calder, Tapies, Rebeyrolle, Fielder, Chillida, Garache, Braque, Matisse, Giacometti, Riopelle, Ubac, Tal-Coat, Kandinsky...
