We have photographed the maker's name located inside the lid and believe it was made in E. India.

This box is in very nice untouched condition with 

'V' monogram on Silver.  

Measures 1 7/8" X 3 3/4" X 4 1/8"

Surface rust inside .  

We have not attempted to polish the monogram on Silver.
