The Sweden 20 Kronor Banknote was issued by the Sveriges Bank in 2015. This purple banknote features children’s writer, Astrid Lindgren on the obverse. It also depicts three crowns, an open book in gold-to-green SPARK, and open books and a walking child “Pippi Langstrump”. The reverse displays trees, a road, and boulders in Smaland, where Astrid Lindgren grew up. The note’s reverse also depicts flowers and a map of Sweden. The note contains a solid security thread and bears a watermark that reveals Astrid Lindgren and an electrotype 20. It is 120 x 67 mm in size and is signed by Stefan Ingves and Johan Gernandt. This particular note is in uncirculated condition.
