Autographed and inscribed 7.75” x 10” photograph of the concert pianist and harpsichordist holding a Yorkie puppy.  Tureck is best remembered for her recitals and recordings of the music of Johann Sebastien Bach, however, she also performed works by Romantic masters and even contemporary composers.  A pupil of Olga Samaroff & Leon Theremin at Juilliard, her Carnegie Hall debut was not on the piano, or harpsichord, but the theremin in the mid 1930’s.  Her piano recital debut occurred at Town Hall in 1937.
