This Gambian 5 Dalasis banknotes was issued in 2019. The obverse side of the note depicts a bird in flight and perched on a tree branch, and the Gambian coat of arms. It also contains buildings, monkeys, trees, and boats in the underprint. The reverse of the banknote features a man with cattle in the field and palm trees. Security features include a pearlescent stripe on the back with the denomination, a registration device in the form of two standing bush fowl birds, and a watermark that reveals a crocodile’s head, an electrotype denomination and palm tree, and Cornerstones. They also have the same sizes of 125 x 65 mm. The 5 dalasis note bears a solid security thread with a demetallized CBG 5. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
