XPress Carbon Steel fittings are now manufactured from EN 100-27- 1S205G2T (formerly known as Rst 34-2) carbon steel.
The fittings incorporate a black EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) ’O’ ring and a unique “Leak Before Press” (LBP) design. LBP has been developed as a final check to the system to provide instant identification of joints that have been assembled correctly but mistakenly left unpresssed.
XPress Carbon is designed for vented and unvented closed circuit heating and chilled water applications.
