The speakers have recently been redesigned and Hi-Res Audio certified coaxial S-Series S2-S65 16.5cm (6-1/2") they offer a new standard of entry-level sonic performance.

The lightweight woofer cone, made from a combination of polypropylene, fiberglass and mica materials, provides powerful, low-distortion sound needed for performance high resolution audio. Alpine S Series speakers feature larger magnets for greater power handling and best-in-class mid-bass performance.
The edge HAMR (High Amplitude Multi-Roll) of the woofer brings out the best of the bass while allowing maximum movement of the cone. The 2.5cm dome tweeter (1") provides all the high-frequency detail you missed with the stock speakers.
All speakers in the S-Series line have a wide range of accessories for the vehicle and include various adapters and spacers. Thanks to the in-line crossovers, these speakers can be installed quickly and easily even at home.
