After selling off all my official Hasbro Animated Arcees, I've decided to part with my unauthorized reproduction of her Takara counterpart, a memento of CHMS who produced it, and KOTOYS where I bought it. Both are sorely missed.
Due to it looking exactly like the Takara TOMY release, even down to the packaging, I need to emphasize that this is, in fact, a knock-off. I'm not trying to fool anyone. Yes, there was more of a point to CHMS's Chromia and Paradron Medic redecos of the mold, but I opened those and don't intend to give them up anytime soon. I believe the ziplock bag of parts floating around next to the figure is the giveaway that this an unofficial but high quality reproduction of our first deluxe-sized Arcee that came close to her G1 look.
The only obvious flaws in the packaging involve the tape around the bubble. On the back, bottom left corner, the small plastic tab has come loose. The loose tape here has some Styrofoam pellets stuck to it, as is also the case wherever the tape is loose all the way up that side, as well as the top and bottom of the bubble. I'm not sure there's any way to get them all off without removing some of the factory tape, so I'll leave it to the buyer to decide if anything should be done about this.
There are also two creases on the hook, and faint edgewear along the top of the backer card. Still makes a great display piece for the KO enthusiast!
And I feel the need to include this reminder for the benefit of anyone intending to open this piece who might not know:
Don't actually put the swords in her hands! Even assuming CHMS used high quality plastic, this is a sculpt issue inherent in the official releases as well. If anything, arm her with a gun that has the right size peg, but always use discretion.
