Here is a very nice tea cup and saucer in excellent vintage condition with no wear to gold, pattern is Buckingham from Royal Albert, made from Bone China.  This is the Dark Green cup from the Buckingham series, the series is a set of 8 in different colors.  Cup is 2 7/8 inches tall (3 inches including the handle) X 3 1/4 inches diameter and the saucer is 5 1/2 inches diameter X 5/8 inches deep.  This series has a lot of gold and this set shows no wear to the gold.  The Buckingham Series was produced from early 1970's through the 1980's.  From my research the back stamp did not change for this series.  Cup shape is the Gainsborough.   Please review the pictures as they are part of the description and are the items that will be shipped.  Buy Happy!

In 1917 the Thomas C Wild & Co became Thomas C Wild & Sons.  In 1964 the company was bought by the Lawley Group but continued making Bone China under the Royal Albert trade name.  In 1974 the name was changed to Royal Albert Ltd.  In December of 2002 all UK production was ceased although Royal Albert is still made in Indonesian and China.
