We decided (Okay, my wife decided) that I needed to make some room in the DVD storage cabinet for her exercise videos, so I am listing a TON of magic DVD's.  Too many to give detailed descriptions, but check out the photos of the DVD case blurbs, and do a little research online for price and content, and you can get some great deals on these DVDs.  

Numismatic (Tim David, 2008) --

This DVD was put out in 2008 by Tim David, and the back cover copy boldly asks the question, "Could this be the World's Greatest coin through glass table effect?"

My answer:  yes, it is.  Or if there is one as good, it probably is not better.   To quote more magic dealer copy, from those old catalogues:  "It is FUN to be Fooled!"   And this one fooled me.     

Now I don't judge a trick completely by whether it fools me or not.  But NUMISMATIC is very clean and well-thought out.   It is very practical, and the DVD even comes with the secret stuff you need to make the gimmick.  Once you have the gimmick ready, you can always be ready to do Numismatic as an "impromptu" miracle.  And it really looks like a miracle.

You show empty hands, and sit by a glass topped coffee table.  You borrow a quarter, and hold it in one hand, while the other hand goes under the table palm up.   The quarter is placed on the table, both hands are again seen empty.    The hand under the glass is brought up to the glass, and the one above is brought down on the coin.   The hands are nowhere near the edge of the glass.  Top hand rubs/pushes the coin a bit, then lifts up and away to reveal the coin is now sitting on the hand below the glass.   The bottom hand comes out from below the glass with the coin.  

If someone said do it again, you are basically reset -- though the magical moment is so astonishing, I would not recommend a repeat.  Let the spectators bask in astonishment.  If you repeat, they will certainly move away from astonishment and into intellectual mode, trying to figure out how this impossibility is possible.   But for another group at another glass table, the repeat is no problem.  Always ready.

Other than the fact that you may not always have a glass table available, I cannot say much bad about this one.  (Oh yeah, you do need to wear a jacket, which isn't a bad thing -- just something you should know if your local nudist colony has a lot of glass-topped tables and you were planning on...

This one is good.  You should get it.

To USA addresses:  Should only be about 50 cents to $1 extra shipping for any added DVDs after the first one (at posted shipping rates)     If you buy more than 3 or 4 DVD's at the same time, then Media Mail will probably be cheaper.   Happy to ship media mail if  it can be less expensive than 1st class for your order.    But remember, only books and DVDs in Media Mail -- cannot combine media with non-media unless we ship 1st class or Priority Mail.     

For International addresses:  shipping for add-on DVD will vary based on total weight of the package, but it will be significantly less per DVD than the first one.
