This comes from Estate of Retired Military Major General Holger Toftoy ( Very Vital and Influential in War and after at Redstone Arsenal "ABMA") in bringing NASA'S Paperclip Scientist to America.  This is a prototype of a clock he designed/invented (and sold plans for manufacturing) plus a binder that includes a collection of various contests that he and his wife entered with inventions, etc. as well as notifications of awards. Binder is labeled "WINNING CONTESTS" and has original drawings/plans, communication with manufacturer as well as advertisement materials for the finished product of the "Modernistic Clock Project 68" (key included but not believed to be original). Clock and Binder with materials are in Very Good overall condition with some expected use and age wear. Clock tries to run but I noticed the pendulum was missing its weight at its end (probably main issue but I would definitely have it serviced). Dial is missing red wood marker and the front glass door is off. Clock measures approximately 9W" x 4.5D x 11"H.
