This is a vintage black suede minaudière. Made circa 1950 or 1960 and possibly French.

A minaudière is a women's fashion accessory, generally considered a jewelry piece, intended to substitute for an evening bag. A case with compartments, it allows storage for several items in a small space, such as a makeup compact, lipstick, watch, reading glasses, or keys. The minaudière appeared during the 1930s.

This one dates from the 1950 or 1960s . It comprises:

Black suede handbag with metal handle, clip closure and a black silk lining .

A lipstick holder.

1 open pocket.

A cigarette or card holder.

A pair of powder compacts one with a sifter.

A hanging hook

A coin purse on a chain

Generally good condition for age. Theren wvould originally been a mirror, the hanging hook and the opening tabs inside have been repaired
