Stainless Steel performance cat back exhaust for the Audi A6 C5 Quattro series of cars (may fit same generation VW Passat 4 motion as well please check pics)
Made by the well known german tuning company MTM .
This should fit all petrol Quattro cars , possibly diesel quattro versions as well, but may need some adaption to tail pipe tips and or connection to Catalysts depending on the exact engine and model year of your car.
Exhaust as pictured was fitted to my MY2000 2.7T Quattro estate, with 50mm dia pipes existing the catalysts. I had to trim bottom edge of rear bumper slightly to clear tail pipes as larger than original. Used for ca. 25k miles from new.
Sound has a slight burble at idle compared to the nearly silent OE exhaust, although audible is not intrusive under hard acceleration and doesn't drone on the motorway.
The centre section was originaly made to fit MTM's own hi-flow down pipes/catalysts and I had adapter pipes ( made to measure off Ebay) welded in to fit the 2.7T Cats , this is the area you may need to have different adapter pipes welded in to fit your specific model, any car with twin cats and 50mm exit pipe to those should fit as is.
The rear boxes are pressed to the same shape as the OE Audi exhaust and an excellent fit, all the hanger points match the car properly unlike many aftermarket exhausts.
The centre section has the correct "X-pipe" connection between the 2 pipes that many aftermarket systems fake or replace with a single pipe, but which is really important for torque.
You won't get a better quality replacement exhaust for your C5 Audi at any reasonable cost.

Hergestellt von MTM.Dies sollte für alle Benziner Quattro-Fahrzeuge passen, möglicherweise auch für Diesel-Quattro-Versionen,
Bnoetigt jedoch möglicherweise eine Anpassung der Endrohrspitzen und/oder den Anschluss an Katalysatoren,
abhängig vom genauen Motor und Modelljahr Ihres Autos.
Der Auspuff wie abgebildet wurde an meinem BJ2000 2.7T Quattro Kombi montiert, hat Rohren mit 50 mm Durchmesser auf der Kat rueckseite.
Ich musste die Unterkante der hinteren Stoßstange leicht anpassen, da Endrohre größer als original.
Gefahren ca. 40.000 km ab neu. Im Vergleich zum nahezu geräuschlosen Originalauspuff ist das Geräusch im Leerlauf leicht blubbernd,
ist bei starker Beschleunigung nicht aufdringlich und auf der Autobahn dröhnt es nicht.
Das Mittelteil wurde ursprünglich für die MTM-eigenen High-Flow-Downpipes/Katalysatoren angefertigt und ich habe Adapterrohre
einschweißen lassen, damit passend zu den 2,7T Katalysatoren mit 50mm Rohrendurchmesser.
Dies ist der Bereich, dem man evtl. anpassen muss um an dem jeweiligen spezifisches Modell montieren zu koennen.
Sollte jedoch wie abgebildet fuer jedes Auto mit Doppelkats u. 50mm Rohr auslassseitig passen - Bilder pruefen.
Die hinteren Boxen haben die gleiche Form wie der Original-Audi-Auspuff und passen perfekt.
Im Gegensatz zu vielen Aftermarket-Auspuffanlagen passen alle Aufhängungspunkte genau zum Auto.
Das Mittelteil verfügt über die korrekte "X-Rohr"-Verbindung zwischen den beiden Rohren, die von vielen nachbauten gefälscht oder
durch ein einzelnes Rohr ersetzt wird, das ist aber für das Drehmoment sehr wichtig.
Ich denke man bekommt kein besseres Audi C5 Auspuffsystem zum vernunftigen Preis.
