Catnip
Nepeta cataria, commonly known as catnip, catswort, catwort, and catmint, is a species of the genus Nepeta in the family Lamiaceae, native to southern and eastern Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, and parts of China. It is widely naturalized in northern Europe, New Zealand, and North America. Catnip is calming and rich in B vitamins.
Catnip is a mild aromatic herb that is soothing and settling to the stomach and nerves, catnip is helpful for colds, chills, congestion,sore throats and indigestion. It is excellent for colic in infants when combined with fennel.
Fennel
Fennel is a flowering plant species in the carrot family. It is a hardy, perennial herb with yellow flowers and feathery leaves. It is indigenous to the shores of the Mediterranean but has become widely naturalized in many parts of the world, especially on dry soils near the sea-coast and on riverbanks.
Fennel is a wonderful carminative,stimulates digestion and reduces intestinal gas.
