The program is in very good condition with the exception of the back cover, which has wear.  There is writing in the program that helps to identify the race.  Numerous pictures were taken to assist with the condition and content of the program.

The Grand National program does not specify which race it was sold at.  Based on the dates of the articles in the program, the scoresheet in the program and the hand written lineup on the back cover this program was for the 1960 Montgomery Air Base Empire State 200 run on July 17th.  This was the 25th event of the season.

John Rostek won the pole for this event on the two mile triangular course laid out on the runways of the air base.  A field of 19 would take the green in front of 5,000 fans.  This program is rare.

Rex White took the lead on lap 77 and went on to win his second victory of the season.  Finishing second was Richard Petty, followed by Lee Petty, Ned Jarrett, and Buck Baker.

Please review the other racing items I have listed. I will combine shipping and provide a refund on shipping charges for anything over cost.  Thanks!
