First Man Liverpool 67 Special / Electric Guitar w/ HC

Description

Condition: Used

Firstman was founded in '67 by Kazuo Morioka, who was originally with Tesco.

The company started as the sole distributor of Mosulite and also manufactured domestic Mosulite products by taking over the technology of the company.

This Liverpool model was produced for Jackie Yoshikawa, a popular GS group at the time, and Tsunaki Mihara, a guitarist in the Blue Comets.

The design was inspired by the image of a violin or a beetle, and the deep black color, like that of a grand piano, creates an unusual beauty.

The pickups of this instrument are single coil type with a mix of bar magnet and pole piece, and have a very punchy sound with good clarity and separation from high to low tones.

The tone control is uniquely wired so that it is fully open when turned fully backward.

The volume and the two PUs can be adjusted to create several different tones, and when they are at the optimum point, the tone is great.

▼About the condition
Overall, there are some minor scratches and scuffs.

There are stains and noticeable damage on some parts of the body (photos 4, 9, 10).

The neck is forward warped and the string height is high. (2mm at the 1st fret and 4mm at the 12th fret)

There are some other signs of use such as fret wear, rust and tarnishing of metal parts, but I think this guitar can still be used well with some maintenance.

Hard case is included.
