A beautiful cast iron iron stand or fireside trivet, dating to c. the 1880s and made by Kenrick & Sons. Deisgned for them by Christopher Dresser - this is a well documented example of one of his designs. Ornately patterned in the style of the Aesthetic or Arts & Crafts Movement, and in a very good condition, with a few minor rust spots which could be removed with a wire brush if preferred.

Marked under as No 8 RD15023 and KENRICK - measuring approximately 9" long, and becoming pretty scarce.
